TRAUMASTEM HAEMOSTATS
Sterile, resorbable, biocompatible haemostats made from pure, natural cotton are designed to stop capillary, venous and minor arterial bleeding. The product minimizes perioperative and early postoperative blood losses and complications. The bleeding usually stops within several minutes1, depending on the type of surgery and the intensity of bleeding. It is atraumatic and 100% biodegradable in the body within 8 days after the application2 without any side effects. Traumastem haemostats exhibit bactericidal effect3.

1) In a randomized clinical trial, bleeding stopped within 2 minutes in 43% and up to 3 minutes in 82% of patients. 2) CT examination on day 9 after hepatocellular carcinoma surgery did not reveal any haemostatic residues. 3) Tested on: Staphylococcus epidermidis (MRSE), Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), Proteus vulgaris, Enterococcus faecalis (VRE), Klebsiella pneumoniae, Bacteroides fragilis, Clostridium perfringens, Streptococcus pyrogenes, Serratia marcescens.
